The Department is manned with well qualified faculty members. The major areas of research include Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Computer Networks, Network Security and Software Engineering.
The course endeavors to equip the CSE in development of computing and IT systems and their proper applications. This is an emerging and powerful branch of engineering, which has the tremendous advantage of abstraction and flexibility. The department has well-established computer laboratories.
To enable the graduates to use modern tools, design and create novelty based products required for the society and communicate effectively with professional ethics. 
To provide dynamic, innovative and flexible curriculum which equip the students with the necessary problem driven skills to strengthen their career prospects and potential to pursue higher studies.
Upgradation of laboratories with latest software and equipment is a regular practice in the college. All the above mentioned labs have the facility of latest licensed software. All the labs are under LAN environment with appropriate peripherals.

ECE department is highly praised  for its activities in the technical front contributing highly towards  cutting edge technologies and professionals, the students are also exposed to emerging  trends in the industry and are molded to quality professionals of the future
The department has also received a grant to purse funded research projects in cutting edge areas such as nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory
PRACTICALS TO BE DONE:
The most and strong  area in this branch is practical one should put some extra effort  in learning it because the branch covers wide areas. A few of them: analyzing analog and digital circuits, Digital communications, signal processing, assembly level language programming and also tougher once like VLSI and VHDL designing (chip design).
ECE JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
This field has very  high salaries. As we are eligible for software jobs too ,we can say that we have a vast scope for jobs. Posts like scientifics  (public sector ),software developer,chip designer ,analyst ,tester  etc. Are the once for we are eligible and they exist in almost all IT companies.
A feeling that “after studying ECE, we should switch to IT field “should not be there in main because IT, ECE, they all come under  circuit branches and we eligible for any job in the IT industry. They are plenty of jobs in hardware companies too. More over, you will have an added advantages to choose from IT jobs and electrical jobs.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering-Intake(60)

The department of Electrical Engineering at Sri Chaitanya Technical Campus offers a vibrant environment for graduation and postgraduate education in Electrical Engineering. Established in 2009 with its first batch graduating in 2013. The UG curriculum provides strong base to the students in Electrical Engineering and provides exposure to the latest technologies. PG programme leads the students to work on interesting research problems in the area of specialization: Power Electronics. The Department firmly believes in imparting a strong hands-on flavor to the courses that a student takes, and therefore places emphasis on the laboratory component, internships and projects.
The Department has an healthy mixture of young and experienced faculty members, all of whom display high levels of enthusiasm and dedication. Apart from teaching and research, the faculties are actively involved in organizing technical workshops, camps and visits at the Institute to create an environment conducive to experiential learning.
The student community in the Electrical Engineering department consists of undergraduate students and post graduate students. The research areas of the current students include Modern Power Systems and Trends, Power Electronics and Renewable Energy sources. Every year many of our B. Tech. and M.Tech students carry out summer internships at reputed academic institutes and industries.
The research interests of the faculty members encompass a wide gamut of sub-disciplines of Electrical Engineering. Collaboration with faculty members from other disciplines, both within and outside the institute, is encouraged. The research activity of the department includes fundamental research, sponsored and consultancy projects, and is carried out with active participation of the students, faculty, staff and research engineers.

Mechanical Engineering-Intake(120)

DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING was started in the year 2009 with an aim of imparting quality education in the field of Mechanical Engineering and bringing out efficient engineers
Mechanical Engineers touch almost every aspect of technology. They create machines, products and technological systems that benefit society. Mechanical Engineering is a large and diversified field.
The present strength of the students is around 2000. Additionally, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is run in second shift with strength of nearly 120 students. The strength of the department is 31 faculty members and 7 technical staff who are well qualified and experienced.

CIVIL Engineering-Intake(120)

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline. The earliest practice of civil engineering may have commenced between 4000 and 2000 BC.
 Our civil department have good lab equipment and best teaching facility. We just don’t cage our students with limited knowledge, there is lot more to learn.
