The Department of Management Studies is one of MREM’s most important departments, offering a two-year full-time post-graduate (MBA) program designed for graduates who wish to pursue careers in management field.

The aim of this program is to develop young aspirants into competent professional managers and bridge the industry gap by providing quality management professionals with strong technical skills and business acumen, to meet the expectations of modern technology-based industries. The Department of Management Studies helps students to develop conceptual and interpersonal skills while also instilling a sense of social purpose in managerial decision-making. It fosters leadership skills in students through a collaborative approach that includes input from various departments, providing them with a broader perspective and deeper understanding.

MBA program are divided into four semesters. This program aims to develop managerial competence through a combination of theoretical foundations in management and practical cases that will enable students to perform effectively and shoulder greater responsibilities as they advance up the hierarchy. In-class discussions, group discussions, presentations, field research, and project work are some of the teaching techniques used to prepare students for the challenges of the managerial profession. Students frequently organize various co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance their organizational skills, nurture their leadership qualities, and re-orient their skills. To assist students in developing an integrated view of management, the Department of Management Studies has been organizing State Level Seminars/Management Fests. The MBA students at MREM are constantly evaluated on a variety of dimensions. Learning is facilitated through a combination of classroom instruction, seminars, case studies, industry internships, interaction with industry and society, simulations, games, quizzes, group discussions, and so on. The department has dedicated and excellent faculty, which is one of the institution’s core competencies.
